Apartment rental market tight in some Colorado cities

The vacancy rate for apartments in a sample of Colorado cities dipped to 5.2 percent in the second quarter, driven by the fact that more people are renting and few new apartments are being built.
A new report from the Colorado Division of Housing notes that the second-quarter vacancy rate is the lowest since the first quarter of 2001, when the rate was 4.3 percent.
